Following up other People’s Tasks

How many times a day you are “following up” other people’s tasks? Each of us does it to some extent, but for the quality team, it is getting a more significant portion of their time. Think of it for a minute; the integrity of the quality system depends on each on the organization. Even if only a very few will not contribute their part, the entire system exposed to errors. We need to create a quality system as much independent as possible, for minimal influence by individuals discipline. Till then, you will have to find an easy way to make sure people contributing their parts. One of the most effective way I know (at least it works for me) is send a place-holder to my calendar for the more essential tasks. I know that other people are using task management SW’s but till now I didn’t find the one that makes my heart dance (or, tasks completed quicker) ❓Which method are you using?
